We support social enterprises, non-profits, and impact-driven organisations with the workspace, mentorship, events, and resources they need to grow.

1. What do Athar+ Members receive?
All Athar+ Members receive access to:
- Selected member-only events
- Learning resources and tools
- Mentors and service providers
- Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR) sessions
- Priority access to meeting rooms and event space
Additional benefits and expectations apply depending on membership type.
2. What memberships are open this application cycle?
For this cycle, we are accepting applications for:
- Athar+ Residency, running April to September
- Athar+ NFP Clinic Programme, running April to July
- Athar+ Incubator Programme, running April to July
Applications for other programmes will open at a later stage.
3. What is the difference between Residency and Programme membership?
Athar+ Residency is designed for organisations that want a regular physical presence at Athar+. Residency members receive access to dedicated private desks and are expected to actively use the space, engage with the Athar+ community, and remain active throughout the residency period.
Athar+ Programmes are structured learning pathways focused on capacity building and growth. Programme members receive access to workshops and mentoring sessions and are expected to attend required workshops and sessions, engage with mentors and programme activities, and stay active throughout the programme duration.
4. What Programmes does Athar+ offer?
Athar+ NFP Clinic Programme supports non-profit organisations that are building or strengthening their foundations, governance, and operational readiness.
Athar+ Incubator Programme is designed for early-stage social enterprises focused on refining their model, strengthening delivery, and preparing for growth.
Athar+ Accelerator Programme supports more advanced organisations that are ready to scale, attract investment, or expand impact.
Not all programmes are open in every application cycle. For this cycle, we are accepting applications for:
- Athar+ Residency, running April to September
- Athar+ NFP Clinic Programme, running April to July
- Athar+ Incubator Programme, running April to July
5. When do applications close?
Applications are open for 4 weeks, from 19 February until 18 March.
6. How can I apply?
Apply through the Athar+ Membership Application Form on the Athar+ website. Applicants can indicate if they are interested in Residency, a Programme, or both. Applicants will be accepted for Residency, a Programme, or both, subject to eligibility and availability.
7. Who is eligible to apply?
Applications are open to organisations in the social impact space, whether you’re a non-for-profit, social enterprise, or an organisation with a social impact purpose.
For Athar+ Residency, organisations must be based in Abu Dhabi or able to operate from Abu Dhabi for the duration of the Residency.
For Athar+ Programmes, organisations must be able to travel to Abu Dhabi and attend the required in-person workshops and sessions.
8. Can I reapply if I’ve applied before?
Yes, previous applicants are welcome to apply again.
9. Can I apply for both Residency and a Programme?
Yes, you may indicate interest in both memberships in the application form. Applicants can be selected for Residency, a Programme, or both, subject to eligibility and availability.
10. What is the selection process?
Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. You will be contacted by email should you be selected for the next steps.
